The HOA Moves In............

HOAs are like your worst enemy coming over to your house, forcing himself in, and refusing to leave. He plants himself in your living room, and no matter what you do or say, he refuses to go away.

What do you do now?

You start ignoring him. You pretend he isn't there. Even when you cover him over with a sheet, he refuses to disappear. He is the elephant in your living room. Until you decide how to make him go away, you'll never have any privacy, peace, or feel safe again. His hands will never be out of your pockets, and he'll constantly be making demands and ordering you around.

Your home is your castle(?), but intimidation, subjugation, and fear have crept in. The HOA is a big problem and as long as it exists you'll never feel comfortable or safe again. The HOA can send you nasty letters, make absurd demands, lien and foreclose your home if it wants to, and all you can do to stop it is keep obeying orders, and paying more and more and more to stave them off..............

The acceptance of these "governing documents" was not optional - these are "take it or leave it" and come on all new houses being built by the largest housing mills ever known to man. Thus, all of the existing mandatory associations were founded on the authority of the DEVELOPERS, not on the authority of the HOMEOWNERS. This is "manufactured consent" - a fancy term for FRAUD in this application since the homeowners did not have a choice when they purchased shelter. To remedy this problem, we must compel all mandatory HOAs to circulate a petition and obtain 51% or more of the current day homeowners' signatures certifying that they all agree to renew the mandatory association foreclosing in America "contract". Without the voluntary acceptance to renew the contract by the majority, the contract shall expire and become VOLUNTARY - and free from extortion-based collection practices that include threats of foreclosure if extremely high "fines and collection fees" are not paid (in addition to the petty cash dues).

Question: We live in a beautiful sub-division. The backyard of our home is adjacent to the community park owned by the HOA. Last week, the HOA, without any notice to us, planted three large trees in the community park. Thes trees now obstruct our view of the park. Does the HOA have the 'right' to plant these trees in the community park without any notice to the neighboring homeowners?

Watch out I live in an HOA in Illinois and they do leins for payment but now they are on the kick of forcible entry and detainer.
I thought I owned my home, did they put the down payment down and are they paying my mortgage, how does government let them get away with this, plus they are not my landlord.
